The foundation of Travel Massive are free and open community events. Community chapters are created by one or more chapter co-founders who volunteer to organize local events to connect and develop their local travel industry. Community events are non-profit but may be supported by local industry sponsors who assist with event costs.
Our community platform provides a central place for membership and events world-wide. Members can host their own individual and company profiles, explore and connect with other members, and join their Travel Massive chapters. Our platform is actively developed and released under an open-source license on massiveplatform.com.
Through our blog, video channels, and podcast series, our content team documents the achievements of Travel Massive members who are making an impact in travel and to share their story. Our interview series unearths and highlights the incredible achievements of change makers, startups, and innovative companies around the world.

Our workshops provide an open platform for skills sharing that empower our community to share and learn from each other in an equitable way. Experts can earn by providing a workshop for other members to learn a skill.

Project Teams are are responsible for delivering each Travel Massive Project initiative to the community. Projects are funded based on their own merit.
Project Teams consist of a Project Leader, and one of more team members. Teams regularly report their activities and progress to the Advisory Board.
By founding a local Travel Massive chapter, Chapter Leaders volunteer their time to organize regular events in their cities to connect members of the travel and tourism industry to meet, share ideas, and collaborate at free and open events.
The Community Team provides Chapter Leaders assistance through regional community support managers.
Community Support Managers are responsible for providing guidance and support resources to Chapter Leaders, helping new Chapter Leaders to join, and assisting with finding opportunities such as speakers and sponsors for their events.
